Origins of Planet Earth

Geographically, according to Alfred Wegner,The continent was on known as Pangea, sorrouded by a large water mass  known as  Pamthalasa and because of faulting and warping forces this continent started moving.

 Alfred Wegner continues and says that, according to the variation in the rates of motion, this continent was forced to split apart forming two land masses known as Lauresia and Gondwanaland separated by a broad water stream known as the Sea of TethysThese continent later further splitted Gondwanaland splitted into into South America,Africa, India and others Lauresia splitted into North America and Greenland

According to different scientists and Geologists, Planet Earth originated from different theories and processes namely;

#1 Alfred Wegner

According to Alfred Wegner, there was one continent known as Pangea, sorrounded by a large water mass known as pamthalasa. To him, According to internal forces which acted to it in different directions it was forced to split apart Forming two land masses known as Lauresia and Gondwanaland separated by a narrow water stream known as the Sea Of Tethys

These continents further splitter where Lauresia formed North America and Greenland while Gondwanaland formed the Rest of Earth.

#2 John Michell

#2 John Michell saw that the Earth was not a single planet but a multi-planet system. He believed that each planet is connected to the rest of the star system. He stated that the Earth is made up of four planets which are land, sea, air and space. The four planets are named Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. All these planetary bodies are surrounded by several large oceans. Michell also said that there is a huge ocean known as Tethys Ocean which extends from North America to South America and Africa to Asia.

#3 Jacques Cousteau

#3 Jacques Cousteau believed that Planet Earth was made up of a huge number of smaller worlds in different shapes and sizes with their own unique properties such as color, shape and size. Cousteau’s theory has been widely used in his books “Planet Earth” and “The World of Life on Earth” (1958) and his television series “Planet Earth” (1968).

#4 George R.R. Martin

#4 George R.R. Martin is a British author and scientist who is best known for his fantasy novels, “A Song of Ice and Fire” (2008) and “A Game of Thrones” (2011). He has also written a number of science fiction novels, such as “The Shadow Rising” (2011) with George RR Martin and “A Dance with Dragons” (2014) with Diana Gabaldon.

#5 Harold Pinter #5 Harold Pinter was an English playwright, actor, screenwriter, film director, screenwriter and theatre director who wrote the plays "Julius Caesar" ("Julius Caesar"), "The Weir", "Rosemary's Baby", "The Wedding Singer", "King Lear", "The Merchant of Venice" ("The Merchant of Venice") , the musicals "Tanglewood" ("Tanglewood"), "Tears in Heaven" ("Tears in Heaven") and the radio play "My Fair Lady". He was also one of the first actors to receive a Tony Award for Best Play for his role as Dr Faustus in The Merchant of Venice. His other plays include The Tempest ("The Tempest"), The Winter's Tale ("Romeo and Juliet"), Hamlet ("Hamlet"), Measure for Measure (1954), A Room with a View (1955), Cervantes ("Cervantes"), Romeo and Juliet ("Romeo and Juliet"), A Doll's House (1961), and Doctor Faustus ("Doctor Faustus"). Harold Pinter is best known to English audiences for his play Julius Caesar, which he wrote in 1968, in which he plays the part of Cato. It was made into a film in 2001 starring Colin Firth as Caesar and Judi Dench as Cleopatra. The play received five Academy Awards, including one for Best Screenplay. Pinter was born in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Middlesex, England, on July 16 1902 to a Jewish family. His father was a mechanical engineer who worked at the company that built the famous tramways of London; his mother was a housemaid who worked for his father's company. His father died when Harold was three years old; his mother married again three years later and she remarried later that year. Harold Pinter attended boarding school in England from 1923 to 1927 then studied at Oxford University from 1927 to 1928 where he met fellow playwright George Bernard Shaw (who would later become an actor). During 1928-29 Pinter travelled with Shaw on the Oxford–Cambridge tour of Europe where they both met John Betjeman (the future poet laureate) and Dorothy Sayers (the first feminist writer). After Oxford Pinter returned to London where he found work as an actor/director at the Royal Court Theatre but soon quit after two years because of ill health; it was not until 1940 that he was able to return to the theatre.

Pinter had a reputation as a writer but his first play, The Desert Island Discs, was not a success and he was initially refused entrance into the Royal Court Theatre; this led him to move in with Shaw who encouraged him to return to the stage. After Shaw's death in 1941 Pinter moved in with his friend, fellow playwright George Bernard Shaw (who would later become an actor). Pinter had two children from this marriage; he married his third wife, Mary Ann O'Brien (mother of his daughter) in 1947.

In 1944 Pinter published "The Age" magazine which became one of the most successful of its time. He began writing plays on a more personal level and created "A Room with a View" which caused controversy for its portrayal of women's rights during World War II, although it was critically acclaimed. In 1945 Pinter published Short Stories from Life That Never Was, which chronicled his years living in England during the war; this earned him some notoriety for being arrested for spying for Nazi Germany at the beginning of World War II when he returned home without telling his family. He wrote another play entitled "The King and I", which followed the story of King Charles I who was murdered by Henry VIII after being accused of treason by Henry's son Edward. In 1947 Pinter produced "Romeo and Juliet" but it did not achieve much critical acclaim before being postponed indefinitely due to poor production
